In order to help set those expectations, we have outlined some of our general Policies & Procedures below. When you place orders with us, we will collect the necessary information for payment and shipment of your items utilizing up-to-date SSL secure server software, encryption of all data during transmission, and storage of all information in locked files behind firewalls and other electronic security protocols. |

Returns & Exchanges for Damaged Merchandise |

(aka – Broken or damaged during shipment)
We take the utmost care to package your items so that they will arrive safely, and in pristine condition. Occasionally though, an item is damaged or destroyed on the way to you. Upon receipt of your package, please open and inspect the items immediately. If you find that something is broken, you must contact us within 7 days of original delivery of the package so that we may file a claim with the carrier. Retain all original packaging, as the carrier will wish to retrieve the package in order to inspect it before they will issue payment for the claim. Once the claim is paid by the carrier, we will send a replacement of the item(s) immediately. If the item is irreplaceable (i.e. - vintage, antique, or one-of-a-kind items) we will issue a complete refund (including shipping and handling costs) to the original form of payment used. |

Returns & Exchanges for Non-Defective Merchandise |

(aka – “I changed my mind.” or “I don’t like it.”)
FORBIDDEN FRUIT will accept merchandise for a refund provided the following:
- You must contact us via phone or email to notify us that you wish to return an item; so that we may properly meet your needs.
- The item is undamaged and in original packaging and “as-new” condition. Note: You are responsible for insuring returned items against damage.
- We receive the return within 7 days of original delivery to you.
- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Upon receipt and verification of the returned item, we will issue a refund of the purchase price, minus shipping and handling, to the original form of payment which was used. |
